I'm glad/I'm pleased the government are increasing the tax on petrol. The government are right/it's right to do it. They are doing the right thing. It's a good idea. I approve of them making petrol more expensive.

People oughtn't to drive/shouldn't drive big cars. It's wrong/not right to use so much petrol. I don't approve of/I disapprove of people using up so much energy.
