Verb + ない
We change just the く to か in 行く, generally the verb stays the same with the form following behind it.
私は行かない。
Negative い adjectives
This is not old.
sākt mācīties
Adj い -> くない
We transform the い at the end into くない.
これは古くない。
Negative Noun/Not-い Adjectives
It's not quiet. He's not a student.
sākt mācīties
Noun/Not-い Adjective + じゃない
Add じゃない after the noun/Not-い Adjective.
しずかじゃない。かれは学生じゃない。
